I made it through my first full week as a full time teacher who is not 9 months pregnant! Hooray! Celebrations! CHEERS all!

I was welcomed back to my classroom with such sweet messages from my students!! I was kind of in shock they didn't forget me considering I was only their teacher for a week. But these adorable gestures proved they really did miss me ; )

{Today I feel happy because my teacher became a mom}
heart.melting.

{top right corner says "I hope Harrison has good health"} collective awwws

Back to work meant leaving my sweet little guy.  He will be 8 weeks tomorrow and he is doing fantastic.  I miss him so but I know he is in good hands : )

This week started out a little bumpy BUT I feel like I am getting back into the groove now.  I just needed to find myself as a teacher again and today my students using Mrs. Olson's Lucky Little Learner's Interactive Math Notebooks made my teacher heart so happy.
I am still in disbelief not ONE kid cut or pasted this on wrong.  AND they were adding like pros!!!

This morning before the students arrived the principal made an announcement about a breakfast Kindergarten and 2nd grade teachers were hosting.  I panicked like "OMG was I supposed to bring something?!"  My fellow teachers stopped by my room to get me and I was still all like "WAIT how did I not know about this?!" They told me that teachers host breakfasts once a month and they didn't want to bother me with bringing something since I just got back.  Little did I know it was a SURPRISE baby shower for me.  All, I just started at this school and I already feel like part of a family.  Everyone has been SO warm, welcoming and generous.  Oh my I don't know what I did to deserve all they did for me today.  It was so sweet!
{that is a DONUT cake!!! Yes donuts are under that frosting and guess what the donuts had cream in them. OH.EM.GEE!}

After months of stressful planning, my 10 year class reunion went off last weekend WITHOUT a hitch!! So thankful it is OVER and I can never plan another reunion ever again--HA!
It ended up being a great time and it was nice to have an adult night out!
reunited with two of my besties from HS

How was your week?!
